AIA Triangle Diversity Committee
Mission:
The mission of this committee is to assist the AIA Triangle Board in encouraging other committees and their members to be more diverse by offering resources, activities, and information to foster excellence by inclusion in our chapter. While reaching out to support, mentor, and nurture those who are in various states of their educational or professional development related to our industry that can be impacted by our efforts.
Goals:

The members of the diversity committee would like to position themselves among the other committees to gain insight into their goals or objectives to see how we might extend our support and provide feedback in an effort to fulfill our mission statement.

Promote the approved AIA Nation diversity Action Plan through 2013
On-Going and Accomplished Activities and Events:

Video interviews of selected AIA Triangle members to showcase importance of diversity within in our profession and to showcase the enormous diversity within our chapter

Monthly diversity meetings at BBH Design on the third Wednesday at 7:30 am
