Theory Committee Meeting
November 19, 2009
6:30pm
BBH Design, P.A.
North Carolina’s Triangle Region continues to be one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country—the Combined Statistical Area (CSA) population of Raleigh-Durham-Cary, currently at 1.7 million, is projected to reach 2.6 million by 2025. Simply put, that’s the equivalent of resettling the entire City of San Francisco within the Triangle (with room to spare). Is the Triangle Region prepared for this growth? Do we have the infrastructure, the housing, the transportation system, and most importantly, the vision to accommodate this continued influx in a way that can preserve the high quality of life that makes the region attractive?
Refreshments will be provided and compelling discourse is expected.
Please email kalmo@BBH-Design if you plan on attending or if you are interested in contributing to the group.
